Steer clear of the DMV, go down south, or out west. The weather sucks, traffic is terrible and it is BORING. There is a shortage of straight black men in the DMV, and these fools know it and use it to their advantage. Most of these dudes are gay,dl, or just plain want you to court them. And the men, chile, don't think you are going to come here and find a chocolate price charming. I mean literally, they will ask "what do you do" before they ask what your name is.
A bunch of pretentious, rude people who only care about job titles. The rent for a decent place in DC starts at $1500/month. The COL is high.EXTREMELY HIGH! Unless you are making 70 - 80K AT LEAST, or want to live in a group home, I would not do it, especially for what you get in return. Schools, if you are talking about DC Public Schools, heck no! They are some of the worse in the nation.
